Carefully grinding down the hull. Toxic dust will kill you and the enviroment!

 

Boot strip re done

 

After taken down the hull, I grounded out the hundreds of blisters and filled them with epoxy.

   

   
 

I bought the boat in 2000. Survey showed an area of delamination on the rudder. After 5 years the area did not grow.

Cut out the area, Drilled holes on the bottom and let the water drain. Filled in as much of the rudder as I could with epoxy.

  

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

   

   

Barrier Coat

Barrier Coat finished 9mm thick. 3 coats

I used 2 coats of hard bottom paint in black.

3 coats of ablative paint.
